Description
Inspired by the Fifth Maine’s early moniker, “The Forest City Regiment,” this crisp, white long-sleeved T-shirt features original artwork by Peter Clark.
The small chest logo includes the symbol of the Fifth Maine Regiment, a red cross, in reference to its place in the First Division of the Sixth Corps of the Army of the Potomac. (see logo to the left)
The pine tree design on the back of the T-shirt is brand new iconography that feels like a period design. Since three of the ten companies in the Fifth Maine Regiment were raised in Portland, then known as the Forest City, the regiment was aptly nicknamed the “Forest City Regiment.” (see logo to the right)
